Sanat o Tijarat, the trade and industry section of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was established in 1920 by Khalifatul Masih II, Hadhrat Mirza Bashir Uddin Mahmood Ahmad (ra).

The aim of this establishment was to promote trade and industry among the members of the community to help enhance their financial positions.  This in turn would enable members to excel in the field of financial sacrifices.

The Sanat o Tijarat team in the UK held its National Networking Forum on Saturday 23rd January 2010 at Baitul Futuh in London.  The team headed by Ahmad Salam Sahib brought together members from all across the UK to this unique event of professionals, graduates and businessmen.  The event consisted of a few short seminars delivered by professionals giving their experience and advice to members in attendance.

Amir UK, Rafiq Ahmed Hayat Sahib, was present at the event and reviewed the progress being made by the team.  Amir Sahib provided guidance for future development of this establishment expressing that he wished the membership to increase.

With the aim of creating awareness of the vast professionals in the community a dinner was arranged in the evening where the members introduced themselves to those present.

Sanat o Tijarat UK has setup an online portal at www.tijaratonline.com to create a means of communication and interaction between members of the organisation.  Other members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community are encouraged to register themselves online.
